ElectroStrainer® Sport provides the do-it-yourself boater with an affordable, entry-level, marine growth prevention solution for refit application. ElectroStrainer Sport is available in two inlet/outlet sizes and features a durable, advanced glass fiber-reinforced composite canister.
ElectroStrainer Sport is designed for simple, straightforward self-installation. Simply replace your existing sea strainer with the ElectroStrainer Sport Canister and ClearVis® Flow Sensor, add the Chlorinated Return Line to enhance ElectroStrainer Sport’s growth-prevention benefits, and complete installation with only two connections.

INTEGRATED CONTROLS An integrated Control Head with a compact design features a bright, easy-to-read LED screen and intuitive controls. Power is dynamically adjusted to the system to ensure a precise, low level of electrochlorination.
SMART FLOW MONITIORING The flow rate is monitored in real time using the ultrasonic ClearVis® Flow Sensor so you know how much protected seawater is flowing through your system at all times. ElectroStrainer Sport alerts you if the strainer basket needs attention.
BIOFOULING PREVENTION DEVICE The smart biofouling prevention device is nested directly in ElectroStrainer Sport’s strainer basket and uses advanced electrochlorination technology to generate a precise, low level of chlorine as seawater enters the boat. This process creates an environment where barnacles simply can’t live.
HYDRODYNAMIC STRAINER ElectroStrainer Sport’s integrated strainer basket is hydrodynamically optimized to diffuse treated seawater throughout the entire basket and has a large surface area to effectively strain debris from passing seawater with minimal pressure drop.
COMPOSITE CANISTER ElectroStrainer Sport’s Canister is made of an engineered lightweight, advanced glass fiber-reinforced composite designed for strength and durability. The Canister features titanium-threaded inserts and stainless-steel reinforced rings on the inlet/outlet ports.
The ultrasonic ClearVis® Flow Sensor measures the amount of seawater moving through the sensor in real time.
ElectroStrainer Sport automatically alerts you if its strainer basket needs attention with its Smart Strainer Flow Alert™ feature.
The CELL indicator will illuminate or flash in various conditions to indicate low salinity or when the Cell has reached the end of its useful life.
A chlorinated return line prevents growth at the inlet side of the strainer basket.
Monitor flow rate in gallons per minute (gpm) or liters per minute (lpm).
View real-time flow information on the Remote Display (ordered separately), which can be located in the salon, cockpit, or other interior location.
